Picked Up Something Little for the Baby

I was at a craft show this weekend and usually there are lots of fun little things to buy.  Since the baby is due in the spring when it will still be a bit chilly, but I won't know how big the baby will be, I thought this was the safest bet.

Can't wait till the baby is here so they can wear it.  My Mother in Law already has a white sweater from when  my husband was little, so it will be a cute little set.

Got to hear the heartbeat

At my last appointment, I got to hear the heartbeat.  It was 140BPM.  So many people are guessing girl, but DH and I are still on the fence as it will be a surprise till the baby's birthdate.

The little spud was pretty active and moving around.

The Glory of Fall Colours

Two weekends ago, I had went to my cousin's wedding.  I also had the opportunity to get lots of great pictures of the fall colours.  Fall colours in this area are limited to various shades of yellows, but a few hours south of here and the full gambit of colours are available to see.

Some bonus pictures are some ducks that were in a swamp behind the mall.  They were swimming around next to a shopping cart.  

Happy Thanksgiving

Today is Thanksgiving Day as well as my 26th birthday.  I have a lot to be thankful for today.  My goal for my 25th birthday was to be pregnant by it.  That obviously did not turn out as I had planned.  I am very thankful that today on my 26th birthday that I am 15 weeks and 3 days pregnant.   It was not easy waiting all those months to get pregnant, but I think it simply made me more grateful and thankful for the miracle of life that is inside of me now.

I have a turkey in the oven right now and will soon have my in laws and my husband's best friend coming over to share Thanksgiving dinner with us.  It should be a very yummy dinner with Turkey, Stuffing, Sweet Potatoes, Mashed Potatoes, Fresh Cranberry Sauce, Carrots, rolls, and some birthday cake for dessert.

27 weeks left

A few more days and I am officially out of the first trimester.  My exhaustion is getting better, although I still come home most nights wanting to go to sleep.  My baby bump is starting to show.  The Chief didn't notice it all that much at first, but it is now becoming quite evident.  So to see the growth I have included all the pictures I have taken up to this point.  They were all taken in the same style of tank top, just in different colours.  Someone other than my the Chief commented on my baby bump today, lol.

Introducing Baby Bundt Cake ( Get it there is a bun in the oven)

I am not totally sure how far along I am, but it is in the 11 week time frame.  It was an absolutely amazing experience.

Very excited

Not only am I excited that my ultrasound is in 2 days, but we bought a car today.

A Versa Hatchback.  Not the most glamourous of vehicles, but still its our first car.



Now I can vroom vroom in our first zoom zoom.
