A few more days and I am officially out of the first trimester. My exhaustion is getting better, although I still come home most nights wanting to go to sleep. My baby bump is starting to show. The Chief didn't notice it all that much at first, but it is now becoming quite evident. So to see the growth I have included all the pictures I have taken up to this point. They were all taken in the same style of tank top, just in different colours. Someone other than my the Chief commented on my baby bump today, lol.
So while I have not been activity planning the nursery, I have been thinking about what I want in there. I know the colour scheme I want to use will be neutral as we are not finding out the gender and I would like to use this bedding for more than one child. I finally found what I was looking for, but of course it is only available in the States, and no shipping to Canada.
I am kind of sad about this fact as this is exactly what I am looking for. I guess I will have to look elsewhere to see if I can find something similar.
I am planning on painting to room a light shade of green and having brown and beige accents. Our crib, dresser, and change table will be white or natural wood. There is currently bright pink carpet in the room, put in by the previous owners. We are planning on putting in either a floating or laminate floor in there when we paint. So we have plans in place, just need to get on board with them.
Well I started school and the first week was not too bad, although I am quite tired. I am quite glad that it is a long weekend. I was able to catch up on some housework and I still have another day to do some planning for the coming weeks. I am so tired towards the end of the day and hungry too. I am still working on getting high protein snacks that will sustain me during the day and not over stuff me leading me to me feel nauseous.
In other news, the belly seems to be growing and some of my pants can be done up, but not really comfortably. I ordered some pants and a belly band from Mother.hood.Maternity so hopefully I will be wearing some more comfortable pants very soon.
I am looking forward to my ultrasound on Sept 15 as I will get to see Baby Bundt. I am very much looking forward to that.
